I usually design and renovate a house every year or two. I’m prepping to do a house right now and am looking at windows and doors. Here’s a list of some glass and metal door trends that I am liking so far. Which ones do you like?

 

1. Round or rectangle? 

While round arches are all the rage in LA, rectangles are classic and you can’t go wrong with them.

According to a social media poll we did, 71% voted for round and 29% voted for rectangle.

 

2. Swivel or accordion? 

Masterful feats in engineering, the swivel or accordion hinge would wow anyone with their show-stopping functionality.

According to a social media poll we did, 72% voted for swivel and 28% voted for accordion.

 

3. Black or metallic frame? 

The great thing about metal frames is that they can come in all sorts of colors. Either a black or metallic frame would be a good design accent to a space.

According to a social media poll we did, 88% voted for black and 12% voted for metallic.

 

4. Sliding or French Style? 

While sliding doors are more industrial and a more modern invention, French style doors are classic and have a dramatic effect when you open them.
