September 2021 Micro Report

The median sales price for a single-family home dropped by $15,000 to $885,000 this month for Los Angeles County. Inventory remains low which means home prices will most likely remain high in this seller’s market. According to the Los Angeles Times, “Southern California home prices set another record last month, but the market is cooling despite the all-time price high.” Some Covid restrictions remain and buyers are now visiting public open houses as compared to last year where buyers were buying homes “sight unseen” which was a new phenomenon.
